Mary Louise Pierson (1959 - 2024), granddaughter of Nelson Rockefeller and daughter of Ann R. Roberts (1934 - 2024), grew up spending summers on Mt Desert Island. Mary Louise was an artist, photographer, philanthropist and lecturer. Her photographs include images of the Kykuit (Dutch for “lookout”) estate built by her great-grandfather in Pocantico Hills, New York, overlooking the Hudson River.
