Each year, as part of our ongoing community effort, The Gallery at Somes Sound raises money for non-profit organizations who align themselves with our mission: A long-standing commitment to educate, stimulate and encourage others through fine art and visual culture.
For the 2024 Season, our goal is to raise money for Maine Seacoast Mission. Since 1905, the Seacoast Mission has been committed to the people of Maine’s outer islands and Downeast coastal communities. Their experienced, caring staff live and work in those communities. Together, they offer healthcare, education, food, shelter, and spiritual support by land and by sea.
The Gallery’s shows this year will run from June through October and we will donate a portion of the gallery’s commission throughout the summer.
