It features interviews with Tyra Hanson; Carl Little; Joellyn's late husband Dr. Ira Kowal; and Brenda LaBier, director of Estate and Gift Planning at The Joellyn T. Duesberry Collection. The film runs approximately 15 minutes.
An accomplished freelance filmmaker, Logue was named the 2016 Maine Multimedia/ Film Fellow by the Maine Arts Commission. His documentary "The Search for the White Rose" has screened at over fifty venues internationally.
“Joly: A Song Cycle” by musicians of Barn Arts Collective
This live musical performance will feature original songs by Brittany Parker and Katherine Perkins, inspired by the work, life, and stories of the late celebrated artist Joellyn Duesberry. The performance will explore the themes and passions expressed in Duesberry’s work through various instruments including banjo, guitar, ukulele, bass, keyboard, percussion and voice. Parker and Perkins will perform against a backdrop of projected images that will enhance the narrative of each song and showcase the beauty of Duesberry’s paintings.
